It’s been a while since I’ve done an unboxing! I was subscribed to Fandom of the Month Club for a year before I decided to take a little break. I’ve missed getting cool fandom jewelry and goodies so when I saw this month’s Geek Chic Monthly box was Studio Ghibli themed, I had to buy it. Here’s a quick unboxing I did of this month’s box.
Overall I think this was a really cute and fun box. My son and I spent a lot of time catching up on as many Studio Ghibli films as we could this past summer and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of them. His favorite is My Neighbor Totoro and I don’t even know if I could pick a favorite. Howl’s Moving Castle and Kiki’s Delivery Service are up there at the top of the list though.
Here’s a close up of everything that came in this month’s box. First, I have to say I LOVE the actual box itself! I think it adds an extra special touch to have the box match the theme and this one is gorgeous. Two prints came in this box – Kiki’s Delivery Service and Ponyo. The magnet is Calcifer and says “May all your bacon burn” and there’s also a Caste in the Sky bookmark. The box came with 3 pieces of jewelry. The first is a Princess Mononoke Kodama necklace. I like looking at this necklace, but because it’s on the larger side I don’t really see myself wearing it. It also came with ADORABLE Soot Sprite earrings and a Totoro bracelet. These 2 are definitely my favorite pieces from the box and I can’t wait to wear them.
Since I’m trying to keep the amount of stuff I own to a minimum, I wanted to give away some of this stuff to you. Up for grabs are the two prints, bookmark, and magnet – which I will ship to you in the awesome Ghibli themed box. To enter just follow the steps below.
