Easter is coming up at the end of the month and although Deadpool said not to bring your kids to see his new movie, that doesn’t mean they can’t help you make some sweet Deadpool Easter eggs. Sure, the Merc with the Mouth doesn’t exactly embody the qualities one might associate with Easter, but I know I’d like nothing more than to wake up to Deadpool in my basket (you can take that in many ways, all of which are correct – ha). Even if Deadpool isn’t your thing, there are so many kick ass nerdy Easter eggs you can make.

DIY Deadpool Easter Eggs
At first glance, these eggs may look hard to make, but it just required a little paint, pencil, and patience. To create:
- Paint the eggs red (acrylic paint works well)
- Draw on the design in pencil
- Fill in the black portion with a Sharpie marker or black acrylic paint
- Use white paint for the detailing
- Paint two toothpicks black and hot glue onto the back of the eggs to look like swords.

Letβs get to cracking and make some eggs!
What nerdy Easter egg do you plan or would you love to make?
These are amazing. I love decorating easter eggs – but often just buy a kit to dye them cool colours/designs. I may have to attempt some nerdy easter eggs this year!
Definitely share your nerdy eggs in the contest if you make them! I love how fun Easter eggs can be π
Aw Danielle! This is SO cute! Every year, me and my boyfriend decorate eggs for easter. This year, I’m going to have to suggest this to him because we both loved the movie!
Aww I’m glad you like them π I hope you guys make some fun nerdy eggs!
These are amazing. They have actually inspired me to plan some Deadpool nail art! But the Easter egg competition sounds so good too. Is it for US residents only? xx
It’s open to US, CA, and UK so definitely make sure to enter π Can’t wait to see your nails and/or eggs!
I’m a little confused – is the widget the entry or is the picture of an egg the entry? Or is there a winner from both sides?
Both – you have to do entries in the widget as well as share your nerdy easter egg with the hashtag #NerdyEgg .
Cool! We don’t actually do our eggs until this Friday so I kind of had to wing it, but I think my selection is eggactly on target!
