Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. I just, I have no words. I get chills every time I watch it and the score is just brilliant. Without even seeing what was going on, just hearing it would bring me all of the feels (for lack of a better way to put it). Seeing Leia with her head on Han’s chest…Han telling them everything is true…it’s brilliant. I’ve got my tickets in hand and I’m ready for 7pm Friday, December 18.
Bad Wolf Brunch came up with this AMAZING drinking game for Hocus Pocus. Hocus Pocus is my most favorite Halloween movie of all time, EVER. I plan to watch it this weekend with Mike, so now we’re going to play the game. She even hosted a themed party to go with the game and it was so cute…be sure to check it out 🙂
Another blog post I loved this week was from KimiWho about Blogging Authentically. As someone who writes in a lot of places, this is something that really struck a cord with me. I write for a mom review blog (and a travel blog where I get to eat food woo!) and when I first got a taste of how cool it is to get products and sponsored things, I wanted to try it for my own (now discontinued) blog. I was sending pitches to reps, churning out beautiful Pinterest worthy posts, and then burnt out…and lost my usual readers…and hated blogging. It’s so tempting to want sponsored content, and while I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, if I ever choose to do it here, it will have to be with something I really like and really fits my blog.
Amazon same day Prime is coming to Orlando. I’m not sure why I’m so excited, but I squeed and gave a fist pump when I read this. I’m an Amazon junkie and order from them often. I always get it in the 2 days, but the same day just seems so cool and dare I say, futuristic!
How incredibly amazing is this. Rich McCor takes amazing photos and adds quirky fun paper details. I’m in love with all of them and think this is such a fun way to look at famous landmarks in a whole new, and sometimes nerdy (looking at you, Eye of Sauron) light. Check out his Instagram to see all of them.
Great Scott, Toyota, you got it so so so right with this one. As I’m sure everyone knows, yesterday was October 21, 2015, the day Marty and Doc go to the future. Toyota released this amazing ad for their new hydrogen powered car and they win the award for marketing genius awesomeness (that’s totally a real award, I swear).
I stumbled across the Hallmark kiosk in the mall yesterday and spent a good 10+ minutes looking at all of their Star Wars stuff. They have a fiber optic lightsaber tree, the best I Love You, I Know mugs ever and this insanely cute Chewie gingerbread man cookie plate. I want. I want it ALL. Take my money, please!
